About The Position
We are seeking a commercially-driven and operationally capable General Manager (GM) to lead our regional office in Eastern Europe, focusing on the defense, homeland security (HLS), and private security sectors. The GM will oversee local commercial activities, manage daily operations of the existing office, and ensure alignment with global strategy and execution standards.
This is a strategic role for a professional with a proven track record in sales, operations, and leadership within the defense and security ecosystem, and a strong understanding of B2G and enterprise sales dynamics
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all regional sales and commercial activities in the defense, HLS, and private security markets.
- Manage the daily operations of the existing local office, including back-office coordination (admin, logistics, finance interface).
- Develop and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, defense integrators, and commercial partners.
- Oversee and support contract execution, including delivery, after-sales service, and reporting.
- Act as the company’s official local representative for compliance, regulatory matters, and formal communication.
- Coordinate with global HQ functions in Israel across sales, legal, product, finance, and logistics.
- Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, operational performance, risks, and market opportunities
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in defense, homeland security, or security sectors, with strong exposure to B2G or strategic B2B sales.
- Demonstrated commercial leadership, including experience in pricing, tenders, and high-value deal-making.
- Proven experience managing the P&L of a business unit or regional operation.
- Strong operational understanding, with the ability to manage cross-functional workflows and support business continuity.
- Prior experience in managing teams or business units in Eastern Europe – an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Eastern Europe and travel across the region.
- Fluent in English; local languages or other EU languages – a strong advantage.
