About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Business partner to join our finance team. This role supports strategic decision-making across the company, with a strong focus on project-based sales, business unit partnering, and management reporting. The analyst will work closely with operational and sales leaders, support quarterly financial closes, conduct gap analyses, and leverage both ERP and BI systems for data-driven insights.

Experience in project-based hardware and software companies is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to business units and cross-functional teams (Sales, Ops, R&D, etc.)
  • Work closely with project-based hardware/software sales teams on deal structure, profitability, and pipeline tracking
  • Build, maintain, and deliver monthly and quarterly management reports to senior leadership and board
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly variance and gap analysis processes
  • Support quarterly financial close activities, including journal inputs, accrual reviews, and reconciliations
  • Use BI tools to build dashboards, KPIs, and operational reports
  • Leverage ERP platforms especially Priority for financial reporting and data validation
  • Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or corporate finance
  • Direct experience supporting project-based hardware and/or software companies
  • Strong hands-on skills with ERP systems (Priority ERP preferred) and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with accounting teams during quarterly close
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fielz

Preferred

  • Experience in multinational or matrixed organizations
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition and project profitability
  • Background in the defense/aerospace sector – a strong advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to executive stakeholders
